"The drama of the music, the rich tones of the Slavonic vowels and the continuously shifting ideas in this sacred concerto made my kids want to work and master it. "
Alan Scott Choir Director
"It's so reassuring to know that there is an absolutely consummate resource for exquisitely-produced, accessible and scholarly editions available to all who seek a deeper exposure to and involvement in Russian choral music."
J. Reilly Lewis Music Director Cathedral Choral Society Washington Bach Consort
"I have found Musica Russica's transliteration system unbelievably easy to work with and to teach--even to amateur choirs. And a native Russian speaker said that the choir sounded correct when we used that system and also that they couldn't get Russian music as good as MR's editions in Russia. Run, don't walk, to Musica Russica for help."
Robert W. Parker
"My high school students have done the Rachmaninoff “Bogoroditse Devo” in three different years with no language difficulty at all. The beauty of the music combined with the resonance and elegance of the Russian has made it the piece they want to sing again and again."
Susan Mueller Director
..."You have opened a beautiful window for me, not only of extraordinary music, but of a theology and a culture and a history and a people. Your work is really important and I thank you for it."
Richard Hynson Music Director Bel Canto Chorus
"Musica Russica publishes everything impeccably and with so much generous effort. What would Russian sacred music heritage be without you?"
Alberta Canada
"You are the only publishing company of Russian music that does it right. Your published music is much better than what is published in Russia. The world is spinning because of people like you. Thank you!"
