Maia Aprahamian is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the composer of several operas, ballets, instrumental works, and choral compositions, many written for use in the Orthodox Christian church. Her Orthodox compositions are tasteful, modern, and American, yet always respecting the moment in the Liturgy for which they were written.
